“I was told over and over that my tests were normal — that it was all in my head.”

For four years, she saw specialists, tried medications, and endured countless appointments. She couldn’t work, couldn’t walk without help, and barely recognized herself. “I would see people jogging and grieve the version of me who used to do that. Here I was looking at bankruptcy, and couldn’t take care of myself.”
