Golden Thread contains berberine, the component that gives goldenseal, coptis, and oregon grape root their yellow/gold color, bitter taste and some of their therapeutic effects. In China it has been used to treat infantile dysentery, Trichomoniasis, diphtheria, scarlet fever, tuberculosis, typhoid fever, tonsillitis, eczema, type II diabetes and ventricular extra systole*. Many people find it works great for acute and chronic infections. Golden Thread Supreme™ is packaged in a bottle containing 60 veggie capsules, each containing approximately 545 mg of powdered Coptis chinensis rhizome without fillers, binders or excipients.
